Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Who you’re booking with
Adventure Your Way is the trading name of Christopher Peter Prickett, a sole trader operating independently. All bookings, communications, and course delivery are provided directly by Chris Prickett. This is not a limited company or corporate entity.
2. How to book
Bookings are made directly with Chris via email, phone, or in person. A booking is confirmed once you’ve received written confirmation and agreed session details. Some activities may require a short pre‑session form or participant information.
3. Payment
Payment details will be provided upon booking. Sessions may require a deposit or full payment in advance, depending on the activity. Payment confirms your place unless otherwise agreed.
4. Cancellation & rescheduling
•     If you cancel more than 7 days before your session, you may reschedule or request a refund (minus any non‑refundable costs).
•     Cancellations within 7 days are non‑refundable unless agreed otherwise.
•     If weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances require rescheduling, Chris will contact you promptly and offer alternative dates or a refund.
•     No‑shows or late arrivals may result in shortened sessions or forfeited fees.
5. Safety & responsibility
All activities are risk‑assessed and delivered with appropriate qualifications, insurance, and emergency planning. You agree to follow safety instructions and respect the environment, other participants, and local guidelines. Chris reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions for safety reasons.
6. Children & supervision
Children are very welcome. Some activities require parents or guardians to be present and actively involved. Please discuss your needs when booking.
7. Accessibility & inclusion
Adventure Your Way aims to be inclusive and adaptable. If you have specific access needs, learning preferences, or health considerations, please share them during booking so sessions can be tailored appropriately.
8. Photography & media
Photos may be taken during sessions for promotional or educational use. You’ll be asked for consent before any identifiable images are used. You’re welcome to take your own photos, provided they respect others’ privacy and safety.
9. Leave No Trace
All sessions follow Leave No Trace principles. You agree to help protect the land, minimise impact, and leave sites better than you found them.

10. Insurance
All activities are covered by appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance held in Chris Prickett’s name. Copies of insurance documentation are available on request.
11. Medical disclosure
Please inform Chris of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or access needs before your session. This is essential to ensure safe, inclusive delivery and appropriate planning.

12. Data protection (GDPR)
Adventure Your Way complies with UK data protection law. Chris Prickett is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller. Registration number: ZB651655.
Any personal information shared during booking is stored securely and used only for session delivery, safety planning, and communication. It will never be shared with third parties without your consent. You may request to view or delete your data at any time.
